At Southfield Primary School we take pride in our fundraising activities for those both in our local community and further afield.
Staff and Pupils at Southfield Primary School rallied round quite magnificently in their efforts to raise funds for Sport Relief. Every pupil took part in the mile challenge and they walked, ran, hopped, skipped and jumped their way around the school field five times on Friday 18th March.
Everyone was sponsored and between them have raised the truly incredible sum of £2938.11 – and more is coming in!!! Congratulations to the whole school – your fundraising will change the lives of so many children!
You really have made a difference

Macmillan Coffee morning

The cakes that were donated were absolutely delicious and raised a mouth-wateringly massive sum of £262.58. Congratulations and many thanks to everyone who took part to help such a worthwhile cause.
What a weird and wonderful time we had when wigs were worn on Wednesday! Why did we wear wigs? – To raise money for CLIC Sargent – a charity which helps children who are suffering with cancer. Everyone got involved and, as you can see, it was a very colourful day. We had great fun and, in the process were able to help others less fortunate than us by raising the sum of £141.34.
Well done Wednesday wig wearers!
Red Nose Day 2015
March saw the return of Red Nose day and we took part in all of the fun. In the middle of wearing Mufti and Red noses we managed to raise the wonderful sum of £141.60 to help towards the record breaking total raised that evening on the television.
Christmas Jumper Day
Friday 12th December 2014 was Christmas Jumper Day – we all came in to School wearing our favourite Christmas Jumpers. The money raised by our donations was £167.43 and this was sent to Save the Children. Click here to see the certificate which they sent to us! The Government will double any money raised and so as a result our contribution is a massive £334.86! Well done and thank you to everyone who helped!
Children in Need

At the end of the first half of the Autumn term 2014 we celebrated the harvest and children brought in some Harvest gifts. We collected the gifts together and were able to make a lovely donation to St Hugh’s Lewsey Church Centre. They, in turn, have been able to pass on the food parcels to families in need. Please Click here to read the letter we received from St Hugh’s explaining how they were going to use our gifts. Thank you to everyone who was able to help this worthwhile cause
